THE RIDGEWAY CAMPSITE
The Ridgeway Campsite is a brand new pop up campsite set in beautiful rolling Wiltshire downland, a short drive from the Avebury stone circle and near the lovely market town of Marlborough.
We are sorry but we aren't taking anymore bookings for the 2019 season.
The farm is owned and managed by James & Maggie Cameron and is a haven for wildlife of all kinds. It's a wonderful place for children to fly kites and build camps in the woods.
The Ridgeway Campsite is open for weekends in June, July and August, ands over the Summer Solstice, so if you would like to be one of the first to pay us a visit click on 'Book Now' and see what is available.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Ridgeway Campsite is in a very secluded location, about half a mile up a farm track and set in a wonderful grassy downland bowl with remains of an ancient stone circle still visible. This is off grid wild camping at its best - but with a few creature comforts on offer as well.
Shared kitchen with gas cooker
Compost Eco Toilets
Fire pits with
wood and kindling
Sorry - we don't have these!
Here are some pictures of what the Ridgeway Campsite looks like in Winter. The road is the way in to the campsite from the village of East Kennett. The giraffe totem pole sculpture is the work of Maggie's brother and is called The Sentinel.
